Rinderhirten Projektgruppe

Stagnation doesn’t lead to progress. For this reason, the Rinderhirten Projektgruppe  (RHPG) was formed.
The Rinderhirten Projektgruppe  is responsible for the further development and direction of the Rinderhirten RH gUG (limited liability).
The scope of responsibilities includes:

  • Establishing contact with cattle owners
  • Collaborating with partner organizations
  • Organizing courses with external trainers
  • Public relations
  • Adapting the training catalog to new conditions
  • Cattle Herder evaluations
  • Heck Cattle Certificate (→ Heck Cattle License)
  • Providing recommendations to the Rinderhirten e.V. for classifying cattle herds for team training

The core project group consists of up to eight people and can be expanded depending on the topic.
All cattle workers appointed to this Cattle Herders Project Group have gained their knowledge through numerous cattle courses from various trainers and/or through fieldwork. Despite the diversity in training paths, qualification levels, and experience, all appointees have completed the Cattle Herders Academy courses. The RHPG members typically hold the status of "Rinderhüter." Through the cooperation with ARWA (Austria), some members have also received ARWA recognition as "Instructors" or "Wranglers." The RHPG members also serve as RH trainers or RH instructors (ARWA Instructors).
Mr. Hans Karner (Instructor and RH trainer) has been appointed as an advisor to the RHPG due to his industry knowledge (in Austria) and expertise, as well as his role as chairman of ARWA.
